Terms of Service
Effective date: 12 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms describe access to Veldt OS, a workspace for capturing knowledge, organising it, and preparing content. The applicable order form or account records may contain additional contracting, plan, and commercial terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter a contract and provide accurate account information. Keep your credentials secure, maintain appropriate workspace permissions, and tell us promptly about unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for ensuring that team members use the service lawfully.
3. Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of content you submit and content you create using the service, subject to third-party rights. You give Veldt OS a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, transmit, transcribe, analyse, organise, display to authorised workspace members, and process that content only to provide, secure, support, and improve the requested service as described in the Privacy Policy.
You must have the rights, notices, permissions, and lawful basis needed for recordings, voices, personal information, documents, URLs, transcripts, and other third-party material. See Recording & Content Permissions.
4. Acceptable and prohibited use
Use Veldt OS only for lawful business and creative work. Do not upload unlawfully obtained material, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, impersonate another person, interfere with the service, probe security controls, distribute malware, or use generated material to make high-impact decisions about people without appropriate human review and legal safeguards.
5. AI, transcription, and generated content
Transcription, speaker identification, knowledge extraction, summaries, suggestions, and generated content can be incomplete or wrong. Review outputs before relying on, publishing, or sharing them. Veldt OS does not guarantee that an output is accurate, original, suitable for a particular audience, or free from third-party rights concerns.
6. Knowledge Vault and publishing
You are responsible for the sources you choose, the instructions you provide, the content you approve, and the accounts or destinations to which you publish. Connected platforms have their own policies, permissions, outages, limits, and terms. Veldt OS does not guarantee provider acceptance, reach, availability, or continued integration support.
7. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Available plans, prices, trials, processing allowances, billing periods, and cancellation controls are shown in the product or applicable order form. Payment processing is handled by the configured payment provider. A cancellation request and any effective date are subject to the product flow and applicable order terms.
8. Privacy and international providers
Our Privacy Policy explains how account information, submitted content, transcripts, integrations, and usage information are handled. Providers may process information outside South Africa, under their own terms and privacy documentation.
9. Availability and changes
Veldt OS is provided subject to maintenance, provider dependencies, network conditions, capacity, and security events. We may update features and these terms. Material changes should be communicated in accordance with applicable law and the final contract.
10. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, non-payment, provider requirements, or a material breach. Where permanent source deletion is available, you may request removal of source material you've uploaded through the Delete Source option in your workspace. Veldt OS removes access first and confirms completion only after required cleanup has been verified. Independently saved drafts, scheduled or published posts, necessary billing records, backups, and copies held by external providers are handled separately and are not automatically deleted by that request. You remain responsible for content and obligations that arose before termination.
11. Disclaimers, liability, and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, the service and outputs are provided without promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every purpose. Any liability cap, excluded loss, consumer-law treatment, and indemnity must be drafted and approved for the applicable customer and jurisdiction; no unreviewed limitation here should be treated as final.
12. Governing law and contact
South African law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and the applicable contracting arrangements. Questions about the service, permissions, or privacy can be sent to shifaan@veldtos.com.
